" Benjamin!" Danna voelde zich verslagen, rende naar hem toe en omhelsde hem van achteren.

“ Ik had het mis, Benjamin. Na al die jaren ben je nog steeds koud en vijandig tegenover mij. Mijn hart doet zo'n pijn als ik eraan denk. Kun je me niet gewoon vergeven? Het spijt me echt. Ik had je niet moeten koppelen. Maar ik vind je echt leuk en ik wil bij je zijn! Waarom kun je me niet vergeven wat ik heb gedaan? Het is niet dat ik niet van Gavin hou. Ik ben gewoon bang dat ik hem te veel heb verwend! ”

Danna verzamelde haar moed en vervolgde met trillende stem: "Betekent dit dat je niet meer bij mij zult zijn, Benjamin?"
